Ascension

When I think about all-time career achievements, Ascension comes to mind. Turns out that starring in a documentary that you’re directing from the saddle of a bike is quite the challenge! Working with a skeleton crew to get this made (due to the budget going predominantly towards our Peak District location), I was delightfully hands-on with this production.

Directing from pre-production, pitching to an Executive Creative Director to secure our budget, Editing (while juggling my day job in promos), sound design and voiceover performances were roles I can proudly say I executed, but of course I must credit my incredibly talented Director of Photography Chris Sharrock and Camera Operator and Driver, Liam Barry for all of the gorgeous shots in this film.

Created for the Sky Creative Mental Health Team (which I co-lead), this film was made with love for World Mental Health day. Enjoy!
